Thanks for all of your questions and feedback so far. We know that tutorials, demos, instructions, etc. are important, and we are working to put together some good ones for you. In the meantime, we will put up a few posts on the basics of using OpenHuddle. So here is Part I in that series. Here's how to add your own Huddle or find someone else's

  • Add a new room (Huddle) via, you guessed it, the Add New Room button at the top of the page

  AddRoom

  • Fill out the details of the Huddle. Be sure to choose whether or not to Record/Archive your Huddle
    • Choosing to record will keep the Huddle permanently open to all registered OpenHuddle users (make sure to brush your hair!). A recorded Huddle will also be available for archived viewing, by any registered OpenHuddle user, after the Huddle has been empty for 30 minutes
    • Choosing NOT to record means the Huddle will remain open while it is live, however, when the Huddle expires, it will disappear forever

NewRoom

  • Search for existing Huddles and Filter  your results with the search bar

search

  • Got suggestions or run into some buggy code? Just fill out the appropriate form and send it to the dev team. We promise to look at all requests - go ahead, give us a try. Oh, and don't forget to invite your friends!

That's all for now. Stay tuned for Part II - "What do I do once I join a Huddle?"
